P.J. Karayiannis Civil Engineers LLC appointed Project Managers for Limassol Marina Cyprus.
P.J. Karayiannis Civil Engineers LLC managed and supervised the construction works from 2010 – 2020, they provided an inhouse independent engineers team including civil engineers, architects, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, quantity surveyors acting as an “independent engineer”.
P.J. Karayiannis Civil Engineers LLC has undertaken the role of the design coordination during the concept design, schematic design and detailed design phase of the project, 2008-2010.
During construction P.J. Karayiannis Civil Engineers LLC has undertaken the role of project management and supervision on behalf of the investors Limassol Marina Ltd & in collaboration with the French Architects Atelier Xavier Bohl Artelia engineers (Sogreah).

The Project involved specialized Design and Construction methods for Marine Works including Breakwaters, Reclamation Works, Man-made Islands, Quay Walls, Revetment Structures, Dredging Operations, Offshore Sheet Piles Construction, Armour Units, 3-D Physical Modelling, Geotechnical & Geophysical investigations, Wave Climate & Environmental Studies, Underwater pipelines construction.
Development of a Marina at Limassol functioning as a leisure harbor, with a total capacity of approx. 600 vessels of various sizes. The marina provides mooring facilities for yachts and includes a repair shipyard. It combines the internationally renowned Camper & Nicholson’s excellence in services and facilities with the best of local expertise.
Also providing administrative offices, facilities for various Government authorities, parking spaces and infrastructure road network. In addition, the project includes the development of approx. 80,000m2 consisting by a mixture of commercial, luxury residential buildings and a cultural centre along with a marine training school
The Project was developed by Limassol Marina Ltd and the construction was undertaken by Joannou & Paraskevaides / Athena / Avax / Cybarco Joint venture.
