P.J. Karayiannis Civil Engineers LLC in collaboration with AMG (Cairo) provided project management services for this project from 2014 – 2017.
During the design phase P.J. Karayiannis Civil Engineers LLC in collaboration with the lead designers Smith Group JJR (USA) and the local design teams, prepared the schematic and the detailed design for this project that includes Marine Works, Infrastructure works, port facilities, residential and commercial development.
The Project is located in the Ayia Thekla area in Ayia Napa, Famagusta district, Cyprus complementing the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
Ayia Napa Marina includes marine works, infrastructure works, roads, parking areas and land development.
During the construction phase P.J. Karayiannis Civil Engineers LLC has undertaken the role of the project manager for the first phase of the project (Marine Works and Port Facilities).
The Marine Works comprised of, defence breakwaters, quay walls, floating pontoons, shipyard & boats repairs areas, port facilities and administration buildings.
The land development includes residential, retail, commercial, entertainment, event centre, dry dock and government offices.
The infrastructure includes parking decks, external works, roads, public restrooms, security and safety services, workshops and landscaping.
The Project includes a leisure marina capacity 600 yachts, two dry stack buildings, two high-rise (tween twisted buildings 28 floors) 190 apartments, villas, shops, commercial, food & beverage venues, including fine dining restaurants, taverns, pubs, cafes, retail shops, gym, spa.
Total buildable area 92,000 square meters.
The Project was developed by MM Makronisos LTD and the
construction was undertaken by Terna SA.
